Trust in Treble3

We started producing design work, websites, exhibition systems, poster prints and digital prints in the small market town of Milnthorpe as Cypher Digital Graphics in early 1995 when digital print and the internet was all new... 

We have produced just about every type of print and exhibition stand, as well as designed and created hundreds of websites over the years, from single pages to full multi-lingual sites. 

We were one of the very first companies offering a 'one stop', creative solution service, producing design, digital print, exhibition solutions, websites and more recently printed and embroidered clothing.

A number of our original websites are still going strong, although in a very different format now than they were back then, as that is the beauty of websites  - they can change to reflect the changes in your business and its needs. 

Many of our exhibition stands are still in use as well, as we can still produce replacement graphic panels for many of them. Much better than the current trend of budget throwaway stands that often end up in landfill!

Over the years we have had some milestones; 

We were one of the first companies in the UK to offer large format printing. We were one of the first to install an Indigo Turbostream digital printing press and we were delighted to be voted runner up as digital printer of the year a couple of times 'back in the day' presented by the late Sir Terry Wogan no less!

We built up a client base nationally and internationally, and we joined forces with a larger litho print company, but then separated away to become independent again as Treble3 Design over 10 years ago.

We have continued to evolve our services over the years, and more importantly we have gained years of valuable experience which we are more than pleased to be able to pass on. 

Customers requirements can be very complex these days and there are many solutions available that we can advise on and offer, but if it’s not something we can help with we will always be honest about it and if we can put you in touch with someone else who can help you we will.

We offer a good value, prompt and friendly service and would be delighted to be able to advise you on any of your print requirements.

Treble3 People

We are a small family business team at Treble3 and we have over 80 years combined experience of graphics, design and print, allowing us to offer a wide range of products to help your business marketing or personal projects.

From large format print, website design and great value small format print solutions, we can help with all jobs big and small.

Paul

Originally trained as a technical illustrator and airbrush artist when things were done by hand! Paul has been in the design, pre-press and printing industry for 'years and years'. He started Cypher Digital, which was the business that grew into Treble3 Design & Print, in 1995 with his wife Sue, and with some great support from the staff over the years, even managing to pick up a few awards along the way.

Paul is the print and exhibitions solutions expert and does a lot of the website design and production as well.

Sue

Sue originally managed Graphics supplies shops in Harrogate and then Kendal before setting up the business and becoming the joint owner of Treble3 with Paul in 1995.

She handles all the finances and money side of the business. She is also in charge of all the web service renewals and will make sure your domain names, hosting and email box subscriptions are up to date. 

During the day Sue now also manages the 3R Foundation Charity shop which is the community support charity and the charitable arm of Treble3 that we set up in 2022.

Rob

Rob makes up the 3rd member of the family team of Treble3 Directors. Growing up with a family design and print business he has always been ‘involved’ but after a number of years working first as a chef and then in food retail, he has gained a range of valuable experience and management skills and now heads up production and project management for Treble3.

He is responsible for dealing with all our suppliers to make sure we have the materials for the jobs and ultimately if your job is then produced on time! So no pressure there then!

Our charitable arm; The 3R Foundation

Doing our bit for the community

We set up 3R Foundation in late 2022. It raises funds for local small charities, community groups and clubs in the Morecambe, Lancaster, North Lancashire and South Cumbria area through the 3R 'Recycle, Reuse, Rehome' Charity shop in Carnforth. We specifically aim to support organisations that have modest financial requirements that would otherwise have nowhere to turn to. We support charities, clubs and groups that offer benefits to the local community with quick and 'easy to apply for' lower value grant awards of £250, £500 and £1000. As of April 2025 it has awarded £135,000 since it opened in Feb 2023.
